SOUNDELUX CHOOSES TONELUX

for TODD-AO Burbank Sound Stage

Ascent Media and Soundelux choose Tonelux for their TODD-AO sound stage in Burbank installs the first TONELUX custom console designed for ADR (Automatic Dialog Replacement). 

BURBANK CALIFORNIA – APRIL 2008: TODD-AO, a facility with a long history of TV and film production,chooses TONELUX for the custom ADR console, used to replace dialog in TV and film.  The process requires the actors to re-record the dialog in sync with the film or video so the final production has a clean and controlled dialog track, so it can be merged with the sound effects into the final product. 

This process needs the features of a full size, full featured recording console, but uses only 4 to 6 channels.  The ability to configure the TONELUX console into a high end 6 channel console made it perfect for this application.

The console shown above has 16) assignable bus modules, 16) faders, 16) meters, 6) MP1A mic preamps, 6) EQ4P equalizers and 6) TXC compressors.
